Swizzeridoo 2006 Um 21 Uhr gibt es eine Pause und wir stehen, noch ganz in den Geschichten Dürrs versunken, auf und gehen nach draussen zum Markt. Eine halbe Stunde später stehen wir wieder im Saal, denn nun spielen 3ple-D aus Holland. Was wir hier geboten bekommen, ist wirklich beeindruckend. Lies Beÿerinck beweist ihr Können auch noch in einem Solo. Ihre erstaunenswerte Performance stösst beim Publikum auf pure Bewunderung. Das Faszinierende, wenn man diese Frau auf der Bühne sieht, ist, dass man sofort das Gefühl hat, sie lebt in dieser Musik; man sieht richtig, wie die Klänge des Didges durch ihren Körper fliessen. Hinter ihrem Können, das sie sich während 13 Jahren angeeignet hat, steckt natürlich auch eine Menge Talent. Die Band, wie Lies uns später in einem Interview preisgibt, besteht seit vier Jahren. Nach dem Swizzeridoo werden sie noch viele Orte in ganz Europa besuchen, unter anderem in Portugal, Frankreich, England, Italien und Deutschland.

Didjin’Devon 3ple-D at ’Didgin Devon’ (International Didje Fest, Aug 2005). Superb....wonderful....excellent....very entertaining, etc, etc, etc.!!!...didge music with a modern difference, without detracting or insulting this very ancient form of Old World Music. It gave me great pleasure to be at the ’Didgin Devon’, didgeridoo festival. This event is held over 3 days and is a truly international scene, with lots of remarkably brilliant didge players that can be found or heard anywhere around. The highlight of this festival for me happened on the Saturday night (6th Aug), as i was sat in the audience listening to all the lovely didge acts that were going on, and upon when it was to be the turn of 3ple-D from the Netherlands to take the stage, and what a stage performance it was...!!!, Wow...!!!. absolutely fantastically brilliant,...didge playing with a modern difference...so vibrant, alive and lots of energy with great rhythm, made one wanting to dance to the wonderful sounds which 3ple-D were producing. The combination components of 3ple-D, consisting of Michiel Teijgeler, Lies Beijerinck & Terence Samson, complimenting each other beautifully, and was very impressed with the female of the group; Lies, she can play as good as any male, and why not?...more women should take up & learn the didge...total admiration & respect to Lies. 3ple-D’s awe inspiring performance was totally professional in every way and very selfishly i did not want them to stop. They made my evening/festival that i hope they will return in 2006 as i will be there as a No.1 English fan. Best Wishes to 3ple-D in all your future together. 21/10/2005 Didge Days Now after Denra Durr and Ganga Giri we come to my personal favourites of this year Didge Days (festival in Stuttgart Germany): 3ple-D. Barefoot vibing and grooving Lies and Michiel play one hot beat after an other perfectly in tune with each other, like it was pure joy. The "toot’ beats are all over the place and in between the pieces there’s uplifting conversation. In short: Sound and Sympathy-factor 1000!
